How the Math Works

The CBM Calculator uses the fundamental formula for calculating the volume of a rectangular prism: CBM = L × W × H ÷ 1,000,000 × quantity. Finally, it multiplies by the quantity to calculate the total volume for multiple identical items being shipped together.
